Brandon Rabeler, MD, FACS completed his medical school education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed surgical residency training at Baylor University Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in Trauma & Surgical Critical Care at Barnes Jewish Hospital. He returned to join the Urgent Surgery Associates, PA, team in 2013.
He is board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care through the American Board of Surgery. As the Section Chief of Acute Care Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center and an Adjunct Assistant Professor with Texas A&M Health Sciences Center, he is involved in the training of surgical residents, surgical critical care fellows, and advanced practice providers (APPs). Dr. Rabeler holds society memberships with the American College of Surgeons, Society of Critical Care Medicine, Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Americas’ Hernia Society and the American Medical Association. Dr. Rabeler serves on multiple Baylor Scott & White Health Institutional committees, including the Surgical Peer Review Committee, Surgical Program Evaluation Committee, Surgical Services Clinical Practice Council, Medical Services CLABSI Eradication Committee and the Committee on Transfusion and Tissue.
